I have heard this quote in some form or another since I was a student at the Art Institute
of California — San Francisco. I had no idea what that meant in the beginning, but I quickly
realized how true this quote is. In order to be a great designer, you have to live it everyday.

I created this proposal for a prospect client. I had less than 2 days to get the content
together and create a proposal that would stand out from the rest. I do love designing
on the computer but I really love making it all come together in a physical package.
It had been awhile since I was able to take out my bookbinding supplies and even
though it was stressful getting all this together it was still fun making it come
together. It reminded me of my college days, staying up all night to make sure
everything was perfect.
