Painting is my first love. She's been there through everything in my life. I can look at a painting
I did, no matter what the subject was, and tell you exactly what was going on in my life at the
time it was painted. Painting is my memoir.

FEATURED PIECE — 'brown skin lady'

This painting was done for a very special friend of my Jedidah (better known as Dee Dee).
I have known her since I was in 6th grade and I always knew that she would be someone
I would know for the rest of my life. I had done this painting before called 'too blue' but
Dee Dee wanted me to do it for her in brown. I think this piece captures her very well and
I hope she likes it as much as I liked creating it.
